‘사랑’이란,
자신의 본연을 찾아가며
스스로를 제어하고 움직일 수 있으며
서로 다른 서로를 존중해 주는 것.
그렇게 서로가 서로를 존중해 주고
존중받으며 살아가는 생태계가 사랑이다.

「愛」とは、
本然たる自分を探り、
自らをコントロールしつつ動かし、
自分とは異なる相手のことを認めること。
お互いの存在を尊重し、
尊重されつつ、生きていく生態系が愛である。
Love leads you to your origin,
to self-control and to forward movement,
to respect for those who are different from you.
The ecosystem that lives with respect is love.
본연을 찾아가는 것
나의 시작점을 찾아가는 것
本然を探ること。
自分の根源を探ること。

나의 작품은 본인의 무의식적 생각의 일부를 대변해 주기도 한다.
私の作品は一部の無意識を代弁したもの。
My artworks sometimes represent my subconscious thoughts.
커피의 얼룩과 그을려진 자국들이 불러일으키는 정서는
나의 고유의 시공간을 비춰주는 듯하다.
정서는 감각으로 형상화가 되어 작품이란 매개체로 세상에 나오게 된다.
コーヒーが生み出す濃淡とその斑、そして墨の跡から呼び起こされる情動は、
私の固有の時空間を照らすはず。
このように情動は感覚に形象化され、作品という媒介として、この世に表出される。
The emotion that coffee stains and scorched marks evoke seems to reflect my own time and space.
Emotions are embodied by senses and come into the world through the medium of artwork.

내가 머물고 있는 세계를 또 다른 형태로 그려낸다. ‘자연’이라는 자원을 사용하는 것은 나의 실험에서 매우 중요한 부분이다. 그것은 자연 그 자체와 자연에 대한 나의 경험 그리고 상상력에 직접적인 연결을 만들어 내며, 감각적인 자질을 환기시켜주는 원소이다. 나의 작품 속에는 자연을 통한 나의 경험, 자연에 대한 나의 이해, 실험을 통한 새로운 시도를 보여준다.

私が立ち止まっている世界を別の形で描く。 「自然」というリソースを使うことは私の実験で非常に重要な部分である。それにより、「自然そのもの」、「自然に対する私の経験」、「想像力」という三つの繋がりが生み出される。自然は芸術家にインスピレーションを与え、より感覚的な資質を喚起させる元素だと考える。この作品の中には自然の中で得られた経験のみならず、自然に対する私の理解や愛情が含められている。普段芸術作品に使われていない素材や材料を用いて実験を行うことで、新しい表現を見せるよう試みている。
About the artist
I paint the world where I’m staying in another way. Using resources and substances from "nature" is a very important part of my experiments. Accordingly, three connections are made: 'nature itself', 'my experience with nature', and 'imagination'. I think of nature as an element that inspires artists and evokes more sensuous qualities. Among these works, my understanding and affection for nature, as well as my experiences in nature, are included. I try to show new expressions by experimenting with materials or materials that are not normally used in works of art.
