실험 목적 :
INFINITY SONNET, 이것은 영감의 전달과 감정의 교감에 대한 실험이다.
혹자는 영감은 눈에 보이지 않는 것이며, 비가시적이며 추상적인 무언가라고 말한다.
그것을 완전히 부정할 수는 없지만, 우리는 가시화되지 않은 영역 속에 있는 불투명한 무언가를 끄집어 내, 눈으로 보이는 형체로, 작품으로, 기록으로 표현하기를 바랐다.
실험 의의 :
작품 속에서 세 사람은 이름을 버리고 A, B, C가 된다.
익명이 주는 혼란은 '나'와 '너' 사이의 경계를 허물고, 감정과 생각과 감각이 혼재된 틈새로 영감이 태동한다.
우리 사이에서 떠도는 끊임없는 영감의 순환을 우리는 "무한 소네트"라고 부르기로 한다.
실험 참여자 : A, B, C
A: 유진, B: 이담 (그림) C: 리지 (글)
실험 방법 :
단계 1. A와 B는 C에게 단어나 문장을 여러 개 전달한다.
단계 2. C는 A나 B에게 영감을 받아, 자신만의 - 짧은 노래 혹은 작은 소리 -
소네트를 창작한다. (영향 1)
단계 3. C는 작성한 소네트를 영감의 원천이 아닌 쪽에게 교차 전달한다. A와 B는
(상대방의 단어와 문장에서 영감을 받은) 소네트를 읽은 후, 그 인상을 시각화한다. (영향 2)
단계 4. 모두 함께 시각화된 소네트(그림 작품)을 보며 교류한다.
A, B, C는 그림에 대한 감상 및 해석을 주고받는다.
또한 A와 B는 본인이 전달한 단어나 문장 중 무엇이 소네트가 되어,
그림 작품이 되었을지 추측해 본다. (영향 3)
단계 5. A와 B는 그림 작품의 원천이 된 단어나 문장을 공개한다.
또한 본인이 (영향 1, 영향 2)에서 어떠한 영감을 받았는지 설명한다.
A, B, C는 최종적으로 소네트와 그림 작품을 함께 감상하며,
다시 한번 작품의 의미를 되새겨 본다. (영향 4)
실험 규칙 :
- 창작에 있어, 작품에 쏟아붓는 에너지와 퀄리티를 일정하게 조정하기 위하여,
작업 시간을 각 30분으로 제한한다.
- 영감에 흐름에 대한 진정성 있는 추측을 위해,
단계 5가 되기 전까지, A와 B는 서로가 단계 1에서 남긴 단어나 문장을 절대 볼 수 없다.
- 단계 4, 단계 5에서 나눈 대화들은 음성 녹음을 통해 기록한다.

Purpose of this experiment:
INFINITE SONNET - This is our experiment about the transmission of inspiration and sympathy of emotions.
Some might say inspiration is something invisible and abstract. Although we do not intend to deny this completely, We hope to bring out something opaque in the invisible realm and express it in a visible form, through art or documentary.
Throughout the process, We abandoned our given name and became A, B, and C.
The confusion caused by anonymity breaks down the boundary between 'Me' and 'You', and inspiration is born in the gap between emotions, thoughts, and sensations.
The endless cycle of inspiration that floats among us is what we call the "Infinite Sonnet".
Participants : A, B, C
A: YOUJIN HAN, B: IDAM JANG (Illustration)

Phase 1. A and B separately give several words or phrases to C
Phase 2. C gets inspiration from A or B, and creates her own artworks, which we called “sonnets”, and which were illustrations, poems, or short stories.*
* definition from Italian word sonetto, - little song - [influence 1]
Phase 3. C shares her creations with the one who is not the source of inspiration.
After A and B experience different sonnets inspired by the other person, They respond to it through a drawing. [influence 2]
Phase 4. Everyone shares ideas and thoughts while they appreciate the response drawings.They talk especially about their own interpretations and feelings. Also, A and B guess which word or phrase gave inspiration to each painting. [influence 3]
Phase 5. A and B reveal the source of inspiration for their works and explain how they got inspired by [influence 1 and 2.] Finally, A, B, C appreciate the sonnets and have a conversation to ruminate on their artworks. [influence 4]
Experiment guidelines:
- To balance the energy spent on one work and maintain a generally consistent quality, creation time is limited to half an hour.
- To guarantee genuine supposition about the flow of inspiration, before phase 5, A and B are never allowed to see the words or phrases they shared during phase 1.
- To record the details of the conversation, use voice recording during phases 4 and 5.

비슷하면서도 전혀 다른 셋. 그 차이가 오히려 새로운 운율이 될 수 있지 않을까 기대하며 만났다.
우리가 나눈 기록이 둥글고 뾰족한 음으로 멀리 퍼질 때까지.
그렇게 소네트로 돌아올 때까지, 대화는 계속될 것이다.
About artists
We are three similar but completely different individuals. We met with the expectation that the difference could become a new rhyme.
Until the records we shared spread far and wide in round and spiky notes … until we return to the sonnet … the conversation will continue.
